Just Another New Year Rambling

Let's see how 2017 treated me, here's the lowdown:

¶ Coldplay Concert – Magical… Ultimate dream concert come true… Front row… Oh to watch them again…

¶ Half my face in the official IG of Coldplay (Freaking out!)

¶ Britney Concert – Inner 90s kid freaked out! I waited for like 20 years for this.

¶ The Chainsmokers Concert – Absolutely loved them! First EDM concert.

¶ Switchfoot Concert – Years of planning to watch, finally fulfilled. (They’re here every year)

¶ Gary V Presents – He may be old but he still got it.

¶ Sister Act – First time to attend a gala night for a Broadway show. Got to meet the star.

¶ Sa Wakas – Support Laui, glad I loved the musical and the music.

¶ A Christmas Carol – A play to watch in and out of season, the lesson is year round.

¶ Sound of Music – A timeless classic I could never tire off.

¶ Movie nights – I’m Drunk I Love You, My Exs and Whys, Beauty and the Beast, Coco, Justice League, Thor, Siargao etc

¶ Discovering Shakeaway and Tokyo Milk Cheese Factory and Rediscovering Pinkberry.

¶ HRSS Olympics

¶ National Breakfast Day

¶ Random visits to BGC

¶ Roadtrips – Tagaytay, Batangas, Baguio, Laguna

¶ Mendokoro Ramenba – Best ramen ever!

¶ Random lunches wit the team

¶ No live UAAP game again this year – Worst record in history (1-13 #cringe)

¶ The Salinggawi Dance Troupe made in back to the podium via a runner up finish!

¶ Still happy and sad…

Musings

Sometimes I wish I had more friends. Friends who take more risks. Don't get me wrong, I love the crop of my current friends. I just think sometimes, what if I had friends who loved going out, partying, would I love it too? I just want to try new things and share the experience with my friends. 

Maybe the problem is not having more friends, maybe it's because my current friends have a life and I just have to suck it up and live mine... alone...

Fortune Telling

So I went on a roadtrip last weekend. It was fun. I realized that i wanted more roadtrips in my life haha 😀 

Anyway, just wanted to document that one of my lolas (my paternal grandmothers sister) who loves pamahiins and traditions read my palm. I will not specify her reading. A part of me doesn't believe (the catholic part) but a part of me wants to (the girl who grew up watching fairytales) haha 😉

UAAP Season 78

The past UAAP season was chaotic! I felt a lot of emotions. So chaotic I don't know know how to express them in words... 

It all started when the whole team was impatiently waiting for the coming season... Around an 11 month wait!!! Finally opening day arrived and we won!  We won again the next and the next game, so far undefeated. The season looked promising. Next game was against the season favorites... Forgive me for saying this but I was ready to accept our 1st defeat, I was gladly mistaken! We won again! Then we suddenly lost maybe, a sign of a lil complacency or the hungry defending champs just had enough of their losing streak. 

The 'family' made me so proud to be a loyal fan fighting game in and game out! I really felt that we would make it all the way! As the elimination round came to a close, we were on top! Imagine?! On top of the standings! A team no one even talked about! 

We battled the defending champs to be able to reach the finals and set a date with the preseason favorites.

At this point my heart is still aching with the results. No point in documenting that as every single news/fb/twitter knows what happened. 

Let's just move on with the good things: *my school spirit has been on a high

*watched UST vs FEU round 2 live

*watched UST vs NU Final 4 live

*watched UST vs FEU Finals G2 live

*watched UST vs FEU Finals G3 outside MOA Arena (should have not given up finding those magical tickets coz my track record this season watching live is great! (see above) As my friend said, kami ang kulang eh! kaya kapos!)

To end this I would just like to reiterate! I am proud of the Growling Tigers for their accomplishment!

Sometimes I enjoy being single... Sometimes I don't... 
Today, I don't...

I really want to watch the game but since my friends are busy or not interested, I can't... Believe me, I contemplated to watch alone... On second thought, what fun would that be? It would be better to watch in the comfort of my own room...

If I wasn't single, I would have someone to 'drag' to watch with me...
