Then & Now Massive Music Festival Experience

Anna got Katsy and I free tickets to watch the concert last Saturday. This is a very welcome blessing because I wanted to watch this concert so bad! I know songs from almost all of the artists, I'll leave you to guess who I don't know ;)
The concert started with a front act who I'd rather not discuss. Anyway, after the front act the voice over announced the first to perform were V Factory... we were like... V Factory who? but then their names were enumerated Asher Book caught our attention... He was the lead in Fame!!! When they came out I think the 3 of us thought we were in high school again screaming for a boyband! hahahaha ;) btw, while watching, another member of the V Factory caught my eye Jared Murillo. Little did I know he caught Anna's eye too... So apparently it's the two of us for Jared  and Katsy is still smitten with Asher. I'm sure not a lot of you know who V Factory is so here are a few pictures.

After V Factory performed out came TQ... ooohhhh.. high school memories hahahaha ;) I'm wondering how old TQ is because he was famous in the nineties but still looks like this...

what do you guys think?
Of course he sang Westside and a couple of songs I know but forgot the lyrics hehe ;)

Anyway, moving on... after TQ was PM Dawn... Okay, I admit they are popular because a lot of our co-audience knew them & their songs... sorry, this was my first encounter with PM Dawn. He looks like a sweet guy he went down the stage and gave girls red roses. Nice gesture...

After PM Dawn, in came Diana King... So I finally put a face into the voice hehe ;) didn't know how she looked before this concert. I love Say a Little Prayer and Shy Guy ;)

Sorry for the blurry photo, was kinda tired as of this moment...

Next was Frankie J, he sang his hits How To Deal, Don't Wanna Try and More Than Words among others... I love his voice... He even sang a new song Crush...

before finishing his act in came Baby Bash and sang with him...
he also sang a couple of his songs which included Cyclone... he also had with him his 2 back -up dancers who were so energetic & funny you wouldn't know where to look.. at baby bash or them hahaha ;)
Baby Bash & Frankie J ended their set with their hit Suga Suga

After them, the most awaited performer of the night came... I say this because after her stint some people left including the girls in front of us... so lo and behold after Jojo's performance we were in front ;)
I'm getting ahead of myself, more on that later... back to Jojo...
She sang a couple of songs way more than she sang during the Changing Lives concert... She also said she loved the Philippines and wants to come back again... She's gonna be releasing a new album and hopes to promote it here when it comes out...

As I was staring at Jojo, I can't help to think how much she looks like my former boss at PS. She resembles Ella so much. Now I'm wondering If Ella can sing as great as Jojo can and if Jojo can make mean pivot tables as Ella can! hahahaha ;)

Back to the concert, as I was saying we were able to move to the front most part because the girls in front of us left after Jojo's performance. There are 2 artists left one the first was All For One... They performed I Swear... with choreography to beat!!! hahaha ;) It was too funny it was cute...
They also sang my fave song So In Love...

Alas, we have come to the end...
The last artist was SWV... it was a perfect ending to a great concert!!!
Their last son was Weak, which was so apt coz we all felt so weak from standing the whole time...

The best part of this music festival was getting to watch it with Anna & Katsy ;)

2010 Elections

Just exercised my right to vote. This election is supposed to be faster right? Apparently it's not! In the past few elections upon arriving I was able to vote immediately. This morning, I had to wait for 2 hours before I was able to vote. Hopefully next time using this year as reference, voting will be easier. May the best man win and lead our country to a bright future!
God bless our country!
