2010 UAAP Cheerdance Competition

Atenean for a day

Seriously, I wasn't a traitor ;)

Our seats were at the Ateneo side, just found out that Upper Box A tickets are reserved seats so even if you are rooting for another team if you want to sit, you need to follow the assigned seat numbers.

It felt weird sitting in enemy territory but surprisingly comfortable because nobody was pushing & shoving their way to the front. I would also like to thank the Ateneo cheerleaders who were situated in front of us for keeping their cool ;) Why you may ask? Their area which was supposed to be their territory was infested by  UST & UP students & alumni. I felt kinda bad for them coz only a few of their schoolmates watched the competition... maybe preparing for the basketball games...

Anyway, back to the competition...

Allow me not to elaborate much on all teams...

First were the UE Pep Squad

Next, was the UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe

Next came FEU Cheering Squad

The defending champs put on a good show, worthy of defending champs

Next was the UP Pep Squad

I liked their fiesta routine, the colorful ensemble was a welcome addition to their usually dull color...

After their performance, there was an intermission composed of dancers from different schools...

The moment of truth finally came....
